...and when I do it, [ breezily ignoring that implication excuse you he is constantly always incredibly hilarious and definitely only when it's on purpose ] you're gonna be thinking, oh I am sooo lucky, I'm the luckiest boy in the world.

[ why does keith have a high-pitched voice in lance's head? who knows. ]

Yeah, but we never sound like what we think we sound like. That's, like, science or something.

Sure, but we have these things called recordings.

And what? You've recorded yourself when you were happy? All two times it happened.

[ though two is pretty generous, tbh. ]

[That's a ... he doesn't know if he's been happy where he could be recorded.]

[ wise choice to make that clear, keith, because lance was two seconds away from doing it... though now he wonders if keith's even ticklish in the first place. ]

Not that I remember? [It might've happened when he was a kid, but as everyone's learned, some of his childhood is hard to remember fully.]

In the meantime — we should do something about this team. I'm not a math guy, but I'm pretty sure there's a high chance that a good number of us are already infected and I haven't heard a peep from anyone.

So, we ask. And find a way to keep our infected from getting out. We're not exactly a weak bunch.

[He leans his head back on the couch and closes his eyes, trying to take in the calm for the moment.]
