I'm not sure if you've noticed, but your "bother Keith" senses are a little broken. They always seem to be off the charts. [The good thing is that they still can needle at one another like this. If Keith hadn't invited Lance into his bed this way, it might be taken to be a bad thing. But no, Lance is here because Keith wanted him to be, so he figures he can still pester him in return.]

[ he does move with it, but instinct also has him reaching out right when it happens. so what happens instead is him somewhat hanging over the edge (just enough that his shoulders are no longer supported by the mattress), his hands curled firmly around keith's upper arms for leverage. in that brief moment of reaction, his feet, too, reached out to tangle with keith's as well. so in an attempt to keep from falling, he unwittingly drags keith closer.
so maybe it's more pg-13 now. ]

either way, the moment keith does his keith thing and plunges into it, lance gets the hug he's been somewhat promised... which he then ont realizes is the hug he's been kind of sort of really desperately wanting. it's not perfect, but they're not perfect, so there's something kind of fitting about that. he relaxes into the other's hold, turning his face just so to rest it against the crook of keith's neck. ]
[More often than not, Keith's response would be something more along the lines of "you got it" or "no problem," but those words don't pour out immediately. Instead, it's the feeling of Lance against his neck that makes him close his eyes and bask in the moment. The uncertain twisting in his stomach is still there, but there's something comforting in the closeness of being ... here.
