i feel like she's looking for reasons to NOT trust anyone. because she's stubborn and thinks that she's the only one who knows best and nobody else could possibly help her. and it's gonna take a lot for her to trust anyone with anything, because she sees every confrontation as a personal attack. even when it's coming from a good place. "i'm worried about you" means "you think i'm weak and can't handle my own business", apparently. so that approach's sithspit.

I can get why she's like that. But that doesn't mean it's OK. It's not. But we have to wait for her to come around. Her version of what's happening isn't even the truth. Like what happened with the sword. She's completely lost grasp of what's actually going on.

yeah, that's what i got out of talking with her. there's a chance that she could come around, maybe, but it's gonna take some time. it's a long game. and i'm gonna try to wait it out. i just hope that it doesn't blow up in our faces in the meantime.

i'm not planning on leaving her alone, but good luck with the kylo ren stuff. she's not gonna budge on that.

did he do something? because he did something to me the first karking day we ran into each other, and i've been trying to give him the benefit of a doubt.

he read my mind. and not in the nice friendly way i guess he and rey are capable of, the way that hurts. it probably doesn't sound like much, but it was a lot.

it's like this drilling pressure. he gets in and he takes whatever he wants, doesn't matter how much you wanna keep to yourself. you can't do anything. it's like being ripped apart without being able to do anything to stop it.

this time it was only for a few seconds, but the first time was bad enough that it dug all that back up. and it was over barely anything. he did it just because he could.

Did you do anything to make Rey think you'd think she'd do that, or was it just all in Kylo Ren's public announcement?

when we talked in person, i was mad about it and she got really defensive. she probably did think that, but i was so caught up in my own side of things, i wasn't thinking about how it sounded to her. i apologized, but that's what happened.

She thinks she's alone. That what power she has makes her alone. Does Finn know that?

i think so? finn is the one who talked to her after that whole thing. he's the one who smoothed things over.

I just don't get why she thinks that. Not really.

i dunno, either. i think you're right, though. she's using her powers as a reason to not trust anyone. besides kylo ren, apparently, because he's like her. and it doesn't matter what we say, she's just gonna keep thinking that until she doesn't want to think it anymore.

and don't think i didn't notice you changed the subject.

i know enough. maybe i don't have it myself, but i grew up on stories about it.
