[Two of his closest friends here now gone. First Ciri, now Noctis. Though Keith has grown past a lot of his early-life abandonment issues, it still hits hard. And in nearly the same way.

What does he even say? His interaction with Prompto is largely neutral, and at least partly because he was friends with Noctis.]

I'll keep that in mind.

[When the reply comes back, Keith's a little afraid he'll be told he's being cold. He is, even if he doesn't feel that way. Trying to put his emotions into words can be a weird balance. Sometimes he's loud, angry and shouty. Sometimes he's like this, restrained and pulling in on himself. Keith doesn't do well with happy mediums.]
