Loki has a sword called Gram. When you cut yourself with it, it forces you to see some truths that aren't easy to admit to. I asked her to use it so she would stop lying to herself. She is. She still is. And she didn't listen to me.
I would never come at Rey with a sword. That sounds like I tried to attack her.
[look, he's ... not exactly surprised by this revelation, which is why he asked keith for his side of the story in the first place.]
her words, not mine. that makes a lot more sense, though.
i tried to talk to her. it didn't end bad, but only because i stopped pushing her when i realized i wasn't getting anywhere. she wants everyone to trust that she's doing the right thing without telling anyone what the right thing is. i'm trying to give her the benefit of a doubt, but she's not making it easy.
i feel like she's looking for reasons to NOT trust anyone. because she's stubborn and thinks that she's the only one who knows best and nobody else could possibly help her. and it's gonna take a lot for her to trust anyone with anything, because she sees every confrontation as a personal attack. even when it's coming from a good place. "i'm worried about you" means "you think i'm weak and can't handle my own business", apparently. so that approach's sithspit.
I can get why she's like that. But that doesn't mean it's OK. It's not. But we have to wait for her to come around. Her version of what's happening isn't even the truth. Like what happened with the sword. She's completely lost grasp of what's actually going on.
yeah, that's what i got out of talking with her. there's a chance that she could come around, maybe, but it's gonna take some time. it's a long game. and i'm gonna try to wait it out. i just hope that it doesn't blow up in our faces in the meantime.
did he do something? because he did something to me the first karking day we ran into each other, and i've been trying to give him the benefit of a doubt.
he read my mind. and not in the nice friendly way i guess he and rey are capable of, the way that hurts. it probably doesn't sound like much, but it was a lot.
it's like this drilling pressure. he gets in and he takes whatever he wants, doesn't matter how much you wanna keep to yourself. you can't do anything. it's like being ripped apart without being able to do anything to stop it.
this time it was only for a few seconds, but the first time was bad enough that it dug all that back up. and it was over barely anything. he did it just because he could.
when we talked in person, i was mad about it and she got really defensive. she probably did think that, but i was so caught up in my own side of things, i wasn't thinking about how it sounded to her. i apologized, but that's what happened.

[Keith is usually not this emphatic but give him a moment to just almost break his magitek necklace in frustration.
And then:]

I still don't know why some things have happened.

what things? not that
you don't have to tell me if you don't want to.

Not that she's listening. If you say she's acting like you're attacking her then nothing's changed since after the wedding.
